Sixteen year old Cheyane Smith has been singing
since the age of six. At the age of ten she recorded
her first C.D. and has been performing at various
functions including fairs, opry's, music festivals and
private events every since.
Has won many awards and has opened or performed
with many well know recording Artist. She recently
won Female Vocalist of the Year, and Entertainer of
the Year from one of the major opry's in the area.
Cheyane has the versatile ability to sing all types of
music, and has shown to be a crowd pleaser where
ever she performs. Her latest single, “Like it or Not”
was released to Texas radio in January 2008 and is
getting some air play across the state. Cheyane has
written several songs and is now working on her
latest which she hope to have completed in the next
few months.
Her latest C.D. Recorded in late 2006 and 2007
shows her versatility. She is now looking for new
material to include in her next recording project
which will hopefully contain some original material.
Cheyane has had a hard time convincing many Major
Artist in which she has opened for, that she is only
sixteen. They stand in the wing of the stage and just
cant believe , such a strong and in pitch voice can
be of a girl of her age.
She had the pleasure of being invited to perform the
National Anthem at the 2007, Pilgrim Pride Football
Classic Bowl and seen on Fox Sports National
Television.
Cheyane loves to sing, and she hopes her audience
enjoys her performance.
